Hudson Cerone

Producer

Born and raised in Yonkers, NY. Interest in music began at age five and developed into a love of playing drums, guitar, bass guitar and keyboards. Have always been attracted to dance music, Top 40 pop and disco. I was drawn to funky basslines, catchy music hooks and percussive beats. I wrote my first song at age 12 and recorded it using an 8-track recording studio in Dobbs Ferry, NY. I continued to write songs and produce demos throughout the 70’s and 80’s where I wrote, produced and recorded a freestyle song called “LOVE ME” known as the artist FOJO in 1987 released on Majesty Records. I performed “Love Me” live in such nightclubs as the Funhouse, The Red Parrot, Sensations, Passions and Act III. In the early 90’s House Music became more prominent, I was drawn to the sound, and it was the Club Music of choice by DJs in the tristate area where I frequented local nightclubs on weekends. In 1991 “Feel the Nasty Groove” was produced and released on Ruffhaus Records and promoted in dance clubs and on the Friday night House Music Radio Mix live on 103.5KTU; liked by Tony Humphries. The House Trax was reviewed in DMR music magazine and became a favorite to underground House Music listeners. I was fascinated with the Chicago House Music sound and scene in the 90’s and many House Music pioneers such as JM Silk and Steve Hurley influenced my sound and choice of House Music styles. I have written and produced 20 plus trax that are independently released on several platforms. I feel that House Music connects people throughout the world and its sound has influenced many artists.
